writes: Hi, I would really like to date and hang out with different guys and get to know different people, but I can't seem to find a good guy. A lot of guys I attract are much older than me and it would make me uncomfortable to date someone almost the same age as my dad. I am only 22. Does anyone have any ideas where to find good guys? And how can I date one safely? I never give out my number (at the most my email address) but I just would like some advice on how to make sure I don't put myself in danger with a guy who I hardly know. I would love to say go here or go there but its really not that simple. When you least expect it they will come along and it will all just seem perfect. Dont get me wrong it takes patience and you'll probably make some mistakes along the way but thats all part of the fun.  There are any number of places where you can potentially meet nice guys. Ideally i would say that places where guys have been drinking are not a good area to start because when someone has had five or six pints of beer they tend not to be themselves so much. Im not saying that people don't meet in pubs & clubs because im sure people do all the time.
Some of the most likely places are at work, or at the gym, an evening class, or even walking round the supermarket.
I am a firm believer that we meet our potential partners when we are not looking for them, when we least expect it there they are.
