 have you ever heard of a girl getting knocked up after a drunken romp. NO? get out more. Of course you can get pregnant, perhaps drinking does kill sperm but theres millions of the little guys and it takes one to make a baby. So yes you can get pregnant

Yes, drinking alcohol tends to reduce the production of sperm - but not nearly enough to avoid the risk of getting pregnant. Also, it weakens the sperm. It's probably not a scientific description but what it amounts to is that the sperm are considerably less likely to reach their natural objective if they're drunk - many of them get lost, or haven't the strength to get all the way up there. However, there's still a very good chance that one of the little blighters will manage to find his way, and one is all it takes.
Certainly if you WANT to get pregnant then getting him to avoid alcohol is a very good idea.
