Do you think when he comes back from Europe we have room to negotiate??

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and I were together for 8 months. He pursued me in the beginning and convinced me to give him a chance. We both fell really hard really fast. At the end of May he told me that he felt he was under too much pressure (his exams were approaching) and that our relationship made him "uncomfortable" but that he still loved me and still wanted to take me to prom. I agreed to go. Prom was okay. When we went home we hooked up. He told me then though that because he was going to Europe in a week and everything he thought it would be better if he stayed single because he didn't want to worry about me every day he was there. I said that was okay as long as there were no other girls. He agreed. The last two nights before he left he spent hours talking to me. He asked me if my family would be willing to take him back and everything. He still sleeps with the stuffed animal I gave him. Do you think when he comes back from Europe we have room to negotiate?

Of course. He sounds really lovely.

If he is as you described I reckon he would take you back within a heartbeat.
