Do women have to wax their stomachs? I have never had this problem before but ever since I turned 16 my stomach hair has become so much more noticeable. I've been told to wax it or shave it and that it's normal but none of my friends have this problem and I may be the oldest but it still doesn't feel right. Do women really wax their stomachs? Because I am so embarrassed about my stomach. I have a great body but the hair drives me crazy. Should I wax because bleaching hasn't really helped me.

Personally, I have trouble with stomach hair and I have tried to shave but this makes it worse as the hair grows back thicker and darker.

My advice would be to go to a salon or just wax the stomach area at home. the hair will grow back lighter after a few waxes.

Why would anyone be embarrassed by a little tummy hair? Female body hair is as natural as the sun and the rain. How natural is shaving, bleaching, or waxing? Do you really want to be just another victim of what I would guess is nothing more than peer pressure to look like everyone else?

I found a site that has helped me, and a lot of people overcome what many percieve to be a problem. If you're interested, there is no nudity at all, or anything distastful on or about this site, and it may help you to change how you see, not how you look.

k_c100 agony auntI just bleach the strip of hair that runs from my belly button downwards, stubble on your tummy is not a good look (or feel!). Waxing would be better than shaving I guess because it lasts longer and the stubble isnt as bad, but then again you have to leave it to grow long enough so the hair is pulled out at the root!

I wax the little strip of thicker hair (not a fan of stomach stubble!) and bleach the rest. Not the most exciting pasttime, but oh well!
