And when they do talk to you(in the midst of her conversation with your mutual friend) she asks you something that you thought she already knew. Example, she asks oh do u play football too? and your thinking I know for a fact that she knew that already. So basically, Do females talk indirectly to you if they like you? Also if they try to act extremely nice and cordial while talking indirectly does that mean that they like you? Reply to this Question

 When a girl is shy and does not know what else to say, she may ask a question, knowing the answer just to make conversation.
If you like her back, ask her a direct question and get to know her better, you will get your answers quicker.

 When I like a guy I will be very indirect because I am shy. I will drop hints and ask questions I already know the answers to so I can engange in conversation with the guy I like. "So you play footbal?" (Even though I've already finished eyeing him up in his football kit).lol He'll respond "yeah I do". I'll say something like, "So what's it like being the captain of the team?" (as a compliment cuz he might not be the captain). You get the point.
If I like a guy I will be extra nice and give extra smiles and be extra shy. I wouldn't say that all women/girls are like this but...in answer to your question I guess women do talk indirectly when they like a guy.
