Okay, so that other day I bumped into the friend of this guy I used to date friend. My old date name is Joe and his friend is Paul. So after I left my destination, I bumped into Paul in the cafeteria, he started talking to me about a few semesters ago when I was dating his friend. He told me that Joe still talks about me and likes me, yatta, yatta, yatta. I decided to stop to talk to Paul because in my mind, I knew that I would see my crush in the cafeteria, I just had the feeling that if I talked to Paul long enough that I would at less have a new picture of my crush to leave on my mind *sigh*.

Either way our conversation was not at all boring, but I did want to see my crush before I left school for the day. So I talked to him for about 45mins or more, my crush was saying HI to almost everyone, lol, he does not know Paul. My crush knows A LOT of ppl on campus though, so anyways, my crush was walked pass us, pretending he was going to go toward the restrooms, and then he walked toward this girl that was talking and did not say anything to her. Then he paced back and forth...and then back to the girl this time. The more he paced the closer he was getting to Paul and me...it was so weird...

Should I have said hi to my crush? Is he scared of me or something?

Im guessing he wanted me to acknowledge him, I did, my head was following him like I was hypnotized or something, lol. I get so nervous around my crush now because I have not seen him at all over the summer :/. I do not know if he likes me or anybody he's so social...and I was getting REALLY nervous because Paul was still talking about Joe...and my crush was pacing back and forth in front of us, lol.

I saw me a day after that happened in another part of the school and he was walking in the hallway. I was reading and did not look up at him. So he started humning and then singing lowly as he got closer to me...(I did not look up though)...he did not say anything to me at all.

Do outgoing guys get shy or was he just being nosey when I was talking to Paul?

Nope, outgoing guys most definitely get shy around the girl they like! It sounds like he's very interested in you. He was probably wondering why on earth you were standing there talking to Paul for so long - I bet he was feeling jealous and wanting to know what was going on. The basic rule with telling whether a guy likes you is if he acts differently towards you than he does with other girls - so your guy is outgoing with others and shy with you. You can also sometimes see guys be quiet around most people but sort of nervously louder around the girl he likes. I think you should smile at him and say hi...just encourage him like that to start with and see what he does next! Good luck :)
