 Part of you is telling yourself that you don't feel ready to have Sex with him yet. Maybe as time goes you will trust him enough and have a clearer mind set about your feelings to have sex with him. It won't necessarily need to be held off as long as marriage, but only you will know that for sure, only; a little closer to the time.

 Hun, if you dont love this guy then i would advise not to have sex with him--wait until you are in a meaningful relationship. You dont have to wait until you are married if you dont want to but at least wait until you are in a relationship with a guy that you love. You are only 16, you are still young so wait for the right guy. Especially if you think this guy has lied to you in the past, do you really want to lose your virginity to someone you cannot trust?!
id suggest waiting for a while-and when you decide that you do want to have sex please be responsible and use contraception for protection against pregnancy and Sexually transmitted infections. Hope i have helped, email me if you want more help!
