writes:Hey, I'm 16 (female) and would really appreciate some help.right so the thing is ive been best friends with this guy for about a year and a half now, he's gay and we both had relationships with boys in the past. we do everything together school, shopping, go out for meals etc you get the idea...But the other night we went to a party and he's known for strangely turning straight when he gets drunk (he's made out with girls as well as boys at party's before). So at this party we're all drunk and he's grinding on everything including me, and this song came on and he gets down on the floor while i stood over him grinding. Next thing i knew we were "dry humping" and although lots of people were syaing to him yur gay get off he refused...anyway a bit later on we were outside just hugging and he said he loved me more than anything else in the world and i said i did too. He told me he wanted this boy ***** so so much and i said he couldnt have him because ***** wasnt gay. My friend then said he knew that, then said to me what about you your single ile have you instead and kissed my neck. I told him i didnt think itd work and laughed it off. But all night we kept coming close to kissing, although i kept turning away as hes meant to be gay!!So yeah weve talked about it today at college and we laughed and its fine but im so comfused i dont know what to think... i do love him so much but i dont know if he meant anything by the other evening?please help if you can (: love xxx

 I think it means that he needs to experiment before he declares himself fully gay- sensible thing to do really, and its common, people need that experience to make up their mind.

 To be honest, it sounds like he's a bit confused/ was quite drunk (like you said he's known for turning straight when drunk)
At the end of the day he is actually gay so even if he did like you, would it ever work?
And would you really want to ruin the friendship, just because of one night of drunken shenanigans?!
I think you should try and put it out of your mind and just go back to being friends, it might be wierd for a bit but in time you'll go back to how it used to be and forget the wierd night ever happened!

the first thing to do is talk to him about it. be straightforward!
then, decide whether you like him, and if yes, go for it for a while.
