Could unprotected sex cause a problem?

A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Right, about a week ago my period stopped. It wasn't very painful, but it sometimes isn't. But ever since I stopped, I've been having what I think is period pain.

As soon as I stopped my period, I had unprotected sex. (I know unprotected sex was stupid, and I regret it already.) Could this have caused a problem or something? I'm confused and worried.

Minelisse agony auntThere is not much to say here... if you still have pain you should definitely go to your doctor. I know some yeast infections that could cause discomfort but there is usually itching and foul discharge also.

Your pain does not necessarily have to do with having sex. Most of the Sexual Transmitted Diseases have no symptoms, nevertheless you should consult your doctor to c heck for other medical ailments.

Good luck!
