pebble agony auntI'm 11 weeks pregnant and I was on the pill. I also took it faithfully, same time, never missed any, never threw any up. But here, I am.

Thankfully, I am ecstatically happy about it but your sister may not be so she needs to do a pregnancy test immediately.

The pill is not 100% effective so she needs to be using condoms aswell if she doesn't want a baby.

Tell her to go to a doctor to do a test. I am living proof that it DOES happen.

If she had spotting, then she is most certainly not pregnant. Her period is probably just wonky wight now. If she has been on the pill faithfully, what do you mean by unprotected sex? If it was without a condom, the pill makes it VERY likely she isn't pregnant.

If she starts showing other symptoms (fatigue, breast tenderness, nausea) of pregnancy, and she misses a period (or worse two) then there's a problem.

Also depends a lot on whether she had this unprotected sex during her ovulation period. That'd be the third week of her cycle, the week before her period. And even then, chances are slim.

Just have faith its ok unless more symptoms show. But if she is having spotting and bleeding now, then she probably just had an irregular period. If she's bleeding, she can't be pregnant.

niki20 agony auntyes she could remember in the add it says 99.9% effective, she could be that (lucky/unlucky) 1% that it failed. even if you take it teo hours later then you usually do that even can increase the chances of becoming pregnant, crazy i know, is she was on the last week when the sugar pill is thats pretty much the crucial point b/c if you take it later then usual then theres a greater chance of pregnancy.
