no you cant get lead poisoning in the U S of A from a juice can. Having been preggers 9 times, i ussure you its your taste buds. Things have a metallic taste at times. Relax. It is aggrievating, but not dangerous. :)

It can't be lead poisoning from the can because there's no lead in food and drink cans. The juice could have been slightly past its best (which is probably no cause for alarm either) Remember that the sense of taste often seems to change for some people during preganacy and what you liked before can suddenly start tasting vile. (Likewise stuff you thought was gross before becomes much more appealing - just remembering the amount of pickled gherkins my sister got through in the last stages of her pregnancy because everything else tasted of metal. LOL)

Unless you were drinking lead paint out of that can there is nothing to worry about.
Juice and aluminium cans both contain No lead.
Good Luck!! xx

I was raised back in the days of when there was lead paint every where. When we were out of potato chips my parents would feed me paint chips with my grilled cheese sandwiche and look how I turned out. Umm. Never mind.

I highly doubt you could possibly get anything from a couple sips of juice that's gone bad and since there is no lead used in cans it certainly wouldn't be lead poisoning. Relax, I'm sure the doctor will call you back with the same opinion.
