Could I be pregnantwith my second child?

hi i have a baby almost 8mths old, i since stopped breast feeding(at since months to be exact) ive since have my period once 1mth ago, i am now five days late and wondering if i cud hav a problem or pregnant, (i havent seen any symptoms of pregnancy though) since my baby was born i've had sex about 10 times all times protected, i know, no contraceptive is 100% safe, but can this be normal since my period is now begining to come back, or something else, i'm sure thee are alot of mothers on this site, any ideas this is my first baby. thanks
