Question - (29 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 29 December 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, *ilence and Sorrow writes:

I'm a submissive in a D/s relationship and my Dom actually asked me to marry him yesterday. I love him and naturally said yes, but I'm not sure how it will affect our dynamic. I really enjoy being his sub and don't want to lose the feeling of being his when we wed. Can anyone give me some advice on how to go about this? I would appreciate it.

Silence and Sorrow agony auntIf I may, we have only just started living together, but have been in both vanilla and D/s relationship for almost a year. Our relationship isn't confined to the bedroom, MarieClaire, it is our lifestyle. I do appreciate your concern though. Satindesire, thank you. Your words helped calm me and I appreciate it greatly. I think I'll request the use of the traditional vows since all christian related weddings I've been to never use "obey." The handfast will, but now I know the wedding can also, which is wonderful. Thank you again!
