Hi,

Me and my ex-fiance broke up over two years ago. She jumped into a relationship with a guy right after we broke up. We hadn't talked for almost a year when she called me on her birthday. Everytime we spoke it was a good conversation until she kept bringing up the past. I mean I want to be her friend. Then just last week she said she couldn't talk to me anymore even though I was acting like a good friend. The question I want to know is why would someone reach out to someone if they hold so much anger toward them?

I agree with you. I mean a part of me wants her back but another part wants to be her friend. But i talked to my pastor and he clarified a lot fo stuff that was going on. I am actually better now since talking to him because he made alot fo sense. But I do thank all of you who responded to my post.

Danielepew agony auntNow that I see your update, my view of this is very different from what I thought it was: it is you who wants her back, and, from what it looks, she doesn't want to go back to you. That was why she mentioned your problems in the past.

Even if I'm wrong in this, if she has someone, she has someone. Period. Don't pay attention to what the family says or wishes. Act on the hard facts, and, I'm sorry to say, the hard facts are that she isn't with you, she doesn't seem to be breaking up with that other guy, and that, even if she did break up, that wouldn't mean she would go back to you.

I'm sorry to say this because we have all been there, but, move on. By the way, that was also my opinion about what you had to do when you hadn't posted the update.

All the best.

zelgamer agony auntSo these two answers given to you before this one are two very different, but good answers, and it could seriously be either one of those two circumstances. If you talk to her again, ask her how her relationship is going, and if she opens up, you'll know what direction to take.

I do miss her and love her still. I mean if the timing was right I would love to get back together with her. I want to help her get through her times. I mean I know she is not happy. I am soo confused

Thanks. I mean I would not rule out trying to work things out with her if the timing was right. I am single and her boyfriend is actually a nice guy. I don't want to come between them, but from what her family has told me she doesnt talk about her new bf like she did about me. I mean I still care for her and love her . I want her to be happy but I know her too well. I am praying for her and I want to help her in any way.

Danielepew agony auntShe's unhappy with the guy she found, and tested the waters with you. She found you're not interested in a relationship with her anymore, and, therefore, it's not worth talking to you anymore. You're not interested, and even if you were she would still need to find out whether you two would really make it this time.

Let her be, and stay your course. No harm done.
