Then a guy comes along (no pun intended!) who may take a bit longer...well they moan about that too....there is no pleasing some people eh?!! Well if he is like taking HOURS and is banging away at you with no success then yea sure, there could be a bit of a problem. Does he love you? Do you love him? Well then don't worry...sex isn't the be all and end all ..

 I think it depends on what has gone on before penetration. Hours is way off the map of what's normal. I get the impression most guys probably last between 3-10 minutes. It depends on speed etc.

 Your guy might think that he 'has to' go for hours, or you won't be happy. And fair enough too... it takes most of us women ages to get going, far longer than it takes the average man. So he may be holding back for your benefit, and in that case, he deserves full marks for consideration! :)
But if he's going on for so long that you're getting bored, (or sore!) then you might want to talk to him about it, and let him know that, while the sex is INCREDIBLE as it is, that sometimes a quickie is enough for you.
In fact, I remember a similar conversation I had with my now-husband when we first met, and I challenged him to the shortest sex he could manage. He went from his usual 2 hours to about 15 seconds! It was kind of fun, and all I had to do was ask...
Time to talk to him, I'd say!

 How long is a piece of string? It takes different times with different blokes...this can depend on state of arousal, sobriety, the situation, who they are with (ie.nerves with a new partner making them trigger happy). I dont think anyone can give you a definitive answer on this one honey.
Good luck trying to find out tho.
