Childhood friend like me?

So my childhood friend that i have known since i was 5 has been giving these weird looks. i dont see him that much like once a week and we talk every time we see each other. but since i've been single whenever i've been around him he stares at me no matter where we are whether i notice him or not. He'll get clumsy when im looking at him or talking to him. Also the last time i talked to him on the phone to ask him a question of little importance he said to call him back. Maybe its just me but it's kinda weird that my old friend is staring at me but it kinda cute. does he like me?
