writes:Ok so there’s this boy (lets call him A) who’s 1 year older than me who I have a crush on but is also my best boy mate. I havent known him that long about 4 months. Basically I’m confused about his feelings towards me. Yesterday me my best friend (G), her boyfriend (R) and A went out together. Because G and R are going out they spent most of their time together, therefore me and A spent most of our time together. Silly things such as him slowing down to walk next to me, brushing hands, putting his hands at his sides as if to say ‘hold it’ and placing his hands around my waist to make me walk faster, have made me wonder if he is giving signals out to me or I’m just seeing things and hoping that they all mean something. Can you tell me if he is giving signals or just being friendly as he is quite confident but only ever had one GF. Please please help me on this! i really would like to know as im not at all confident and dont really want to ask him, of course im scared of rejection but who isnt! What does it all mean!??

reader, anonymous, writes (5 May 2008): To me it seems like he likes you but he's not too sure how to show you ... he's doing it in subtle ways to see how you react to them.
Show him some signs too and then see how he reacts. If he seems happy and content then it's all good. If he seems weirded out then he was just being friendly and only wats to be your friend .
