Question - (3 June 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 3 June 2008)
A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hi. I had the implanon put in a month about a month ago. My period during that time or the rod insertion was normal, now that it has become that time of month again I'm bleeding less daily but i'm bleeding longer. So it's lighter bleeding but lasting more days that what it ever has.

I used to be about 6 days now that the implanon is in i'm on day 11 and there's been no sign of my period ending soon.

I know my doctor had first told me to expect more bleeding but I didn't think it would last more days, at least more than 10.

Can someone give me advice?

I rather have this thing out then have less days for having sex.
