A male reader, Illithid United States +, writes (1 November 2009):

Illithid agony auntMy ex was in love with me, fanatically and genuinely in love with me for three years without being sexually attracted to me. We got engaged and were half done planning the wedding before she left me, but she only left to be with another man that's even less attractive than I am. She gave her heart wholly and entirely, and very honestly, but she never worried about sexual chemistry.

Yes it's possible.

That said, sexless relationships are more likely to end and do have some reduced intimacy in general. Sex brings people together, strengthens bonds, produces many chemicals and hormones that keep love strong, and maintain passion. Usually, without sex, relationships fall apart into either disinterest or outright adultery.
