I, like other users of this site, am not qualified to give legal advice (legal opinion, as you will no doubt see, flow freely but aren't always accurate!). If you find the police are involved then clearly you should speak to a lawyer immediately.
You may be worrying about nothing, in which case you have acted rather foolishly and you can chalk it up as a lesson learned.
If legal action does result, then you need to have faith in the legal system in your state / country. You will have an opportunity to present your side of the story, and all factors will be taken into account in determining what happens next.
Whatever happens, you should stop any contact with this girl immediately. I would also suggest that you stop viewing chat rooms as pick up joints - you never know who the person you are picking up really is.

That is why predators need to stop meeting little girls online and meeting them for sex, even if the little girl lured him into it with suggestive pictures, he is the ADULT in this situation and ADULTS are supposed to be protective of others, not trolling the internet looking for sex.....it used to be called prostitution which is illegal in most states no matter the age of the participants.

You're asking if the GIRL can "put him in jail" - first, the girl is a MINOR so she has NO SAY in this... none... even if she was in love with him and she wanted to have sex, it's meaningless. Either parent can file a police report, and if the police investigate and the District Attorney beilives that a crime has been committed, they can have him arrested and held for trial. The judge (and jury) will determine if he goes to jail.
Here's the short verson... this guy could very well be in DEEP SHIT... he's a adult, he had sex with her, she's 15 (now state laws vary and in some states this may not be "statitory rape", but in most it probably is...). If convicted he's going to be a felon, and a sexual preditor and that conviction will haunt him for the rest of his life (or unitl the US re-writes the laws, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY as no polititian wants to be freindly to adults who have sex with kids...). He'll have to report everytime he moves to the police, not go to places where kids go (malls, movies, schools), tell his employer ... and no one is going to care that he was 19 and thought she was 18... the lable is "sex with a minor" and people will assume that he was 40 and raped a 13 year old...
