Bearing in mind it only takes one sperm to get you pregnant by him putting his penis in you without a condom you are risking pregnancy. If you don't like condoms then go to the doctor and get the contraceptive pill, or have the injection as then you don't even have to remember to take a tablet everyday.
Do not be daft, your age says 16-17 you really should know the basics of human reproduction. I dont want to sound mean but they teach this stuff in school from a young age.
If it is hurting you then you should try having more foreplay before trying to put it in you, so a lot more kissing and touching and he should go gently to minimise any discomfort. Don't be afraid to tell him what you want and if you want him to go gently, he isn't going to know if you don't say.

I understand that condom's can hurt, I have that problem myself, but a little discomfort is better than becoming HIV or getting any other std. He might get bored with only going in half way, only he knows that for sure. I know your young, but your being very irresponsible and your obviously not ready for a sexual relationship. As for it hurting when he puts his penis all the way in you should see a gynocologist, though at your age I can understand that you don't want to and you don;t want your parents knowing what your up to.
