reader, anonymous, writes (21 April 2007): Only way you can trust him again is if he makes an effort in gaining your trust again. This takes time, but this is also two-fold. You can't just automatically trust him again on a whim. While he tries to prove himself worthy of trust and less doubt, you also have to not fortify yourself too much. If you indeed want this relationship to work, as he wishes to try if he does, then you also must lower your cautions and your defences.
