hi

my guy friend, he had an 18 yrs relationship with a girl , they have broken up.

i really want to know after being in an 18 yrs relationship , how can ppl still break up , was their no love or why does this happen ?

now the point is i love this guy , he says he loves me too. but i get really upset when he at times tells me " i see that red bag you have, its so much similar to my ex".

i do get annoyed. but i have a lot of control and patience not to tell him anything.

the other day he was sick. i suggested him some medicines. He kept telling me my ex gf was a doctor , i know most of the medicines. You really dont have to bother.

please help me

Honeypie agony auntSounds to me that he isn't really over her.

And you can break up at any point in time fo a relationship/marriage - some times people just grow apart. Some time they grow bored or restless.

Maybe date someone closer to your own age?

Have you ever ask him the reason he broke up with his ex? How long was it since they broke up because clearly he's not so much over her and still thinking about her sometimes.

Has he ever compare you to his ex though? Just wondering.
