 Dearie,
I think you should let your boyfriend know that you arent good at swimming. perhaps he can offer to teach you. This might not be a bad thing infact it might be really good thing for both of you spending time at the pool together.
Also, they are many different types of swimming suits. Perhaps you havent just found the right one for you. Why not go shopping with some friends.I can gaurantee you that you will find the right one for you.
