Been out of the dating game for a while -- how soon should intimacy start?

Help!

I have just got to the fourth date with a new guy.... but it has been a long time since I was last on the dating phase of a relationship.

How soon should things be progressing with regards to physical intimacy and when does it go from dating to being in a relationship?

I feel like a teenager having to ask these questions, but I am just confused!

Even though our relationship is very new still, I feel we have a connection that I have never felt with any one else. I am not sure if this is just hormones or if this really could be something special.

Any thoughts or advice would be gratefully recieved!

Many thanks.

Daniel the love doctor agony auntI agree with 19reginna84, it's really up to you. You have to go based on mood, timing, and if you truly feel that he's who you want to be intimate with.

I think that it really is up to you. But, I would say at least 5-6 dates, so at least one month. That is the very minimum. But I think 3 months is better because in reality a month is a very short time. But, it depends on you and the relationship and how comfortable you feel.
