A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have been with my guy for 7 years he is in Canada for the year. I was living with my step father while I was preparing for my masters degree in occupational therapy and he kicked me out due to the fact I lost my job with the economy. I'm in a hotel for the past 2 months and my boyfriend has been sending me money to help pay for it. I leave for my masters in another state end of the summer. Everything is set up there as far as an apartment, tuition etc..he is in debt due to the hotel situation. I don't have a car here so a job is not possible in this state the car I'm going to get a used car when I get to the college. I asked him why don't I just come to him for the summer and we save the money on the hotel and he said You can't come here I don't want to deal with you this summer. And my family is tired of seeing me broke and spending money. This has really hurt me now I'm worried about our relationship during this hard time. What to do about this with him?

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntI find it interesting that you refer to "my guy"... as if there really is some sort of "relationship" going on between the two of you........

For SEVEN years, you've persevered, in the belief that you and he have/had a "relationship"?????

WHEN does quiet acquiesence become frustrated enlightenment???? I hope, for you, that it happens soon...

Good luck...
