A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i have a long history with my boyfriend say like a three year relationship, but we had an issue,, because we once brokeup because of another girl i found in his appartment she tried so many times breaking us apart she talks bad behind my back and etc,,eventually i stopped talking to her i couldn't take it any more , but later he came and apolgized and promised he won't talk to her again, but afterwards i heard she was having dinner over her place and invited somefriends including him, so he was like ,"i have to go because it's rude not to go after being invited besides myfriends are gonna make fun out of me if i didn't go because they're gonna say that i'm being controlled by u." so what do you think ? i'm i controlling ,well i feel like breaking up with him because the fact that we had an agreement that they wouldn't be talking and out of no where he's gonna have dinner with her over her place....!!!

A male reader, GrimmReality United States +, writes (15 August 2009):

GrimmReality agony auntYour BF is immature, and selfish. He obviously still has something for this girl. Id give him the ultimatum...if he goes for dinner over there, he might as well stay there. That is about the most disresopectful thing Ive heard today here.

what's next?

He sleeps with her, you find out and he tells you "If I didn't all my friends would think I wasn't man enough to cheat on you?"

Young lady, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to what I say.

Anyone who would give you that excuse does not love you, and certainly has no respect for you , your feelings or your relationship.

There are so many people in this world that would jump at the chance to treat a lovely young lady right...

This guy is not one of them.
