writes: Ok I had my first date a few months ago days before the date I was super excited and we went to the movie so I was kind of hoping that I would get my first kiss in the dark movie theater but I was wrong he brought his 3 cousins ,mom,sister and his cousins were sittting right beside us and they talked the whole movie I was thinking omg shut up So I have one question are all our dates going to be as akward as this one ?

 Honey, all first dates have that potential awkward factor! I feel for you, I really do. You shouldn't have a disastrous date already at your age.
Did you ask him why he brought along the whole family along? Maybe his parents are strict (since you guys are still minors) and he wasn't allowed out by himself with you. Or maybe his family invited themselves along seeing as they were the ones that probably drove him.
If his parents are strict, then "yes" all of your dates will be awkwardly supervised. Now if his family just invited themselves, then no all your dates won't be awkward.
Talk to him about it, ask him what's up with him bringing the family. Then you will have your answer.

Most dates will probably be a little bit awkward, that one does sound particularly cringe worthy though. I just got back from an awful date last night, he brought his friends along and we had nothing in common and by the end of it they were all just talking away and pretending I wasn't even there! It was horrible..
But then again you get some wonderful ones. One guy took me to a theme park and it was so fun! Please don't swear off dating, you have to go through the bad to get to the good and either way you'll be laughing about it in the future, either you'll be laughing about how much of a wonderful time you had or you'll be laughing about how awful it was. Plus bad date stories make for good conversation with girl friends :P
