reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2009): Well like audie said make sure you start a general convo with her first, don't just like jump straight into it, also subtly check that she isnt already going with someone else as you don't want to get refused unecassarily. if you're really worried they why not make it a bit more casual like saying you'll go only as friends and see how it goes from there

 just go up to her and start a general conversation and build it till u talkin abt the dance then ask her. show a little confidence. do it quickly tho before someone else asks her- u myt nt be the only 1 with your eye on her. good luck.
