A male reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2009):

The worst mistake YOU can make in this situation is to FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF. That position will not help you move forward with your life. UNFORTUNATELY, some people are born and grow up, and due to family circumstances, do not develop the social skills required to deal with people, especially the opposite sex for a relationship.

You've got to trust yourself that the YOU THAT IS INSIDE YOU will come out and FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU NEED FROM LIFE when you are mature enough to need it.

You do not have a disease. You just lack SOCIAL SKILLS. You lack self-confidence. You need friends. You've got to realize that ONLY YOU CAN FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT. Unfortunately, there is no magic fairy that is looking out for your interests so it is up to you to become a warrior so that you can get the things you want from life. You've got to fight that fight alone. It is YOU with all your negative views of who you are AGAINST YOUR SELF as an person who can get the things she wants. You've just got to believe it. You need to trust yourself.

I know what I'm talking about because I think I have the same thing as you. I'm 48 and I've never had a relationship. I've never even kissed a girl. Not only that but because I never developed much self-confidence my accomplishments have been few and they have sort of derailed my career and social life.

I hope you get what you want when you fight for it.

I just looked up what you said your disease is, and i'm confused. It doesn't sound like anything that would affect either your appearance, or the way you function in every day life. So why are you constantle rejected?

A reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2009):

They have support groups for diseases for reasons and i'm sure they'd have one for you. It may sound lame, but if you went there, you could meet tons of people who have the same problem as you. So they won't make fun of you or stare or wonder what's wrong with you and i'm positive they won't be mean to you because they know what it feels like too.. I'm not sure what your disease is, but do you have a brother, sister? Anything? Someone to go with you and help you to locate the support group? I really think that would be the best thing for you! Goodluck and take care!

alwaysreadyandwilling agony auntGo to a free dating site. You can chat and flirt.Do not get attached to any of them,as you also get people who are posing as single who are not. Reminds me of a chick i met late last year. Later telling me she was attached, and when her boyfriend found out she said she was there to study a mans mind. He went back, talk about gullible lol she had me in stitches. She got jealous and said i was still logging in my account.

Starlights agony auntthere is nothing wrong with u.

u need to understand your unique and perfect as you are.

until u realise this truth and stop judging yourself so harshly as a reject u will notice people being more affectionate with u.

if u dont love yourself how can u expect another to?

i suggest u be kind to yourself

u might have been unlucky in the past, but make a promise to be feel positive about yourself.

any disease can be cured if you believe it so.

good luck!
