Am I being too clingy after we've broken up?

Question - (31 December 2008) 2 Answers - (Newest, 31 December 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I posted before about the problem about my relationship. I had a fight with my boyfriend and texted that I want to end the relationship with him because of anger. Surprisingly, he texted back okay and we haven't texted/talked ever since.

But from the advice here, I decided to call him first and say that we should meet up and talk it out.

He didn't pick it up when I called him first. The second time, he picked it up.

Him: Hello?

Me: Hello?

Him: Yeah

Me: Hi!

Silence for 5 seconds, and then he hung up.

I don't even know why I am writing this. I mean the relationship clearly ended, right? Oh, god. I really didn't want to break up with him this way. I feel horrible and I am crying right now.

What should I do? Am I being too clingy toward him?

I don't even know how I am going to face him from now on. I totally messed up my relationship:(
