writes:My step-sister just got a boyfreind. Befor I even met him, a felt mad at him for no apparent reason. When I met him, he already seemed unconfortible around me, so I wanted to further scare him. I didnt becouse my step-sister was there. I havent known my step-sister for long, and she looks attractive. I think I'm eather being defensive like a brother, or maybe, this is weird, I'm jealous.If she was up for it, I would probably kiss her, and I also would feel better if she did'nt have a boyfriend. But she's my step-siter... Am I being defensive like a brother, or am I jealous?I can't talk about it to anyone I know, so I'm posting it here. Any advice? Thanks.

If it bothers you that much that you feel the need to 'scare' her boyfriend off, and you can't try to be friends with this guy, then don't be around them when they're together in your house. He has no right to be treated this way, and he probably DOES feel intimidated! If you're feelings for her are just lust then you will get over it soon.

 personally, i think your a bit jealous. you have some kind of feeling for her but even she is your step-sister. you need to wake up and think no i cannot think this she is literally my sister. try and be friends with this guy, make him feel welcome and yes that is going to be hard. but give it a go. just keep thinking to yourself this is literally my sister, not a friend, not a girlfriend, sister. eventually you will get over it. good luck x
