Hey guys :) do you think it makes sense that I want a boyfriend because I never see my dad??? Because even though I'm young, I still like having a boyfriend. I really only have one guy friend and that's it. My dad is always working and I never see him. I think I really want another male figure in my life so I'm not so alone. I'm always sitting in my room waching tv. The only time I come out is to eat and take a shower. Do you think I'm going into depression because I don't have any male support????

That could be the reason your becoming depressed but you have to try to keep it from going down that path. Alot of guys out there see theirselves as the one wearing the pants but its truely both equal. Your boyfriend cant be the male figure in your life because that usually just makes things complicated, take it from me. I was in a relationship with a girl 2 years ago with a girl 2 years older than me but it was because i look 22 when im only 17. Her father was NEVER so she looked at me as the male figure. She called me daddy which i didn mind at times but it eventually became uncomfortable for me. We really liked eachother and wanted to make things work but we broke it off, in other words find a guy friend and look to him as an older brother. I went to school with alot of girls who i treated as my little sisters. If someone touched them i usually went to jail for breaking their face so i eventually got kicked out of school. Just find a good guy friend that'll treat you this way. I hope this helps you.

Daddy issues...quite possible. Some of us are wired that way. If you're having depression problems it might be because of your guy and separately because you haven't been getting enough male attention in a while or so.
