This sounds like a disaster between friends to me if either of you ends up being with this guy. Isn't it true that if you end up with him, she will be mad at you and if she ends up with him, you will be mad at her? Won't there be jealousy and lingering anger no matter how hard to try to hide it? At the age at which you are, this is what i see for your future.
is your friend more important to you or is this boy more important to you? I think this is somethign that you should talk to your friend about in order to avoid future conflict.
