Do you guys think it's OK or am I getting obsessed?

I'm kinda worrying about this obsession. I'm quite a loud and funny person and always make my mates laugh.

There's this girl I really fancy. Well at lunchtime about 20 boys play football on the fields while everyone else sits around the pitch to watch and eat lunch.

The girl I fancy is there watching aswell.

I played once and I pulled one of these fancy tricks which made everyone point and compliment me throughout the day. Well I've given up my lunch, I no longer spend time with my friends at lunchtime.

I've been practising some skills at home, I tried them out at school and it went so wel everyone started clapping. Quite alot of the girls complimented my football.

It's now come to a point where I'm good at football and have some really good tricks to show off by taking on people who are few years older than me.

My friends think I'm pathetic playing football to impress the girl I like!

Is it me or am I really being foolish?

TasteofIndia agony auntThere's no problem showing off your skills for a girlfriend. Make sure you don't drive you friends NUTS by hogging the ball or by overdoing it... otherwise, there's nothing wrong with trying to impress a girl with fancy tricks.

And hey, keep practicing as if there's a girl you're trying to impress. Your skills might really grow and take you somewhere!

I do think that it's super cute the way that you're flirting, but I have to agree with Sauvignon Blanc, I think you should go ahead and ask this girl out! Clearly she thinks your cute (since she's watching you), and who wouldn't want a date with you, you football star?? Maybe try talking to her next time you're off the field.

Good luck, sweetness!

xxxsoulsistaxxx agony auntYour mates are just jealous. If this makes you feel good and you get the attention you want, you're not doing anyone any harm so go for it - it's obviously working if you're getting all this attention!

Guys can be just as jealous as girls and it sounds to me like that's all that's up with them. You're getting all the attention and getting in with the girl you want and they wish they were, that's all.

You do what makes you happy, you're not crazy, you're just a young lad doing all he can to impress the girl.

Sauvignon Blanc agony auntIt's wonderful that you are trying so hard to impress this girl and I wouldn't worry about your mates - friends can be like that sometimes!

To avoid this going on too long though I suggest you bite the bullet and ask this girl out. Do it away from others in case you get an answer that you don't want. If you like her you should go for it!

Then you can get your lunches back, play football occasionally and hopefully spend time with this girl.

Good luck!
