writes: do girls really care if they are goin out with older boys? i'm 16 and i fancy this 14year old girl. i know my friends will not be happy with me because just coz she is younger than us apart from my best mate who supports me! but my mate say's i might have a better chance coz she will be dating a 6th former which is me whereas she is in year10? is it true? and also i'm not in it for sex. sex is the last thing i wanna do! how can i get to know this girl more? talk to her? make her aware i'm free so she may fall for me? i've only seen her for 3hours at a mates birthday. otherwise at school when i say hi for about 5seconds. i'm shy so i carry on walking. because i think if i dont she'll think i'm tryin to chat her up everytime! any way round this? lots of questions! lol thanks for reading guys

 Alot of girls do like guys older especially when they are younger as at school guys their own age are quite immature and at 14 guys don't want to get involved with girls.
I know you said your not in it for the sex but remember you are over 16 and she is under 16 therefore any type of sexual activity between you both is illegal.

no its not because your older its because girls are 2 years more mature than guys of their same age, so you being in sixth form (lower sixth or higher sixth) are about the same maturity of a girl in Year 10 so they will be more attracted to you because you are mature in their eyes, compared to lads in their own year who are 2 years younger than them in maturity, so i guess it is correct but as helpful girl says, that alone will not get you this girl you have to be sweet and gentle, but being the same maturity as her helps.

 well no it isnt true that you have a better chance cus your older than her, some girls well most girls just want a sweet gentel man who can talk to them politely and show their intrested in them subjects like what do you want to do when you leave school, thats how you mainly get a better chance at being with some one. if your the shy type and dont want to talk to her to her face then maybe getting a contact number off one of her freinds or maybe makeing an exscuse like there might be a party tonight if you want to come ill let you know the time when im sure but im going to need some kind of contact number exsetra. then if she gives it you text her or ring her explaining there was no party you just wanted her number but didnt want to be refused and say sorry too. or maybe if you have her address writting a letter and explaining how you feel. but sod what your freinds think its what you want not them. or maybe gradually just building up on the conversations like hi 1 day the next hi how are you? what lesson you got next? then the next day the same but adding do you like that lesson?! and also i think when you talk to her you need to let her know your chatting her up as then shell know your singel and like her. hope ive helped. let me know how it goes. kelly.x
