writes:I'm a 14 year old girl and I just recently got over a Yeast Infection about a week or two ago. About 5 days ago I started itching real bad in my vagina area and I do trim down there so I just figured it was from the hair maybe starting to grow back. Then, yesterday around the clit area, I started having a stinging pain like the pain of a cut or scratch? And I get it when I pee then sometimes the pain can last anywhere between 5 minutes to an hour. I put vaginal cream on it and it didn't exactly help so I decided to put Antibiotic Ointment on it and i'm not sure if that's going to help yet or not. I don't know if I might have scratched too hard down there when I was itching really bad or if it's just irritated? I'm not sure that I have a cut or not but it's just a really bad stinging kind of pain. Any ideas to help cure it? Any advice is helpful!!

it sounds like you have irritated the skin 'down there'
i used to get yeast infections ALL the time when i was young
it's very painful itchy and annoying..so before bed take a bath until it is all cleared up
keep using the cream you are using for it during the day and only wear lose fitting cotton panties
if you can try sleeping without any panties on at all and just a nightgown and for the love of god try to NOT itch it it will only make the irritation worse
