writes:HiHaving some real problems moving on after a break up and really having trouble not contacting the guy. Its been a month since we spoke. This is the second time weve broken up because he wasnt willing to give up being single. I feel like I need to get in back in touch even though it probably wont help. I think the problem is he came back before so I cant help thinking that he ll come back again. Would making contact make me look like a fool?am going crazy!Thanks

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2008): Most guys make contact with a girl within two months of breaking up with her if he dated you more than a few times....you could call him or drop in on him and ask him to do something with you, go out, etc, and then see his response, or you could wait another 4 weeks for him to call.
If he doesn't call or won't meet with you, then you really have to move on and forget him....it sounds like he is unavailable to you emotionally as he doesn't want to commit to being your boyfriend...if that is what you want, don't settle, find a guy you like who wants the same thing as you do, he's out there, you just have to stop wasting your time with this dork.
