reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2007): The age gap isn't that bad. If she was 16 and down from that then yes it would be wrong but she's old enough to know what she wants. I don't see anything wrong in that. I'm 17 and my age limit is 26-27.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2007): I don't see anything wrong with it. Once she turns 18, she'll no longer be a 'girl' but an official adult, free to do whatever she likes. An age gap of 9 years may seem large to you, but it's relatively small compared to many couples out there. My 25-year-old cousin is currently dating a 46-year-old, and they're happy and in love. When she's 25, you'll only be 34. I say if you connect with her and she makes you happy, then go for it.
