writes:I'm wondering if my girlfriend is the type of girl to cheat... she is always telling me about her old boyfriends and how many she has had, and they're ALWAYS calling her and msging her on myspace and whatnot.She also tells me about how a lot of guys try to get with her, which I believe, she's gorgeous.Am I just being jealous and paranoid or is there a good chance she is going to be an unfaithful girlfriend?And if it matters, she hasn't slept with any of them, at least that's what she says and I believe her.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 August 2007): Beauty is as beauty does....if she continues to take all these guy's calls then she is addicted to male attention, she is very young and so are you, and may not be ready to settle down into an exclusive relationship....this does not make her a cheater, and I would advise that you both continue to have dates with others, you are only 16 once, and now is the time to make friends and learn about yourselves first and foremost and what you like in a partner and focus on school and what is next for you career wise, or you won't have the means to have a relationship.
