A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Here's the story: 19yr girl meets 41yr old man as a virgin. She goes on a date with him to try and forget 33yr old guy who enchants and frustrates her. 41yr old and her kiss for an hr straight. But then, he asks for a 2nd date and stands her up. So, she hopes he falls headfirst into dog crap and forgets him. 33yr old enchants her further and they make love. Scared that shes falling for him, she jumps to 41yr old when he begs forgiveness and one thing leads to another. She NEVER calls/texts him again though he tries to get in touch. She remains with 33yr old and finds that hes falling for her like she's falling for him. They're together practically a year when 41yr old rings. Shit. She ignores him since she's loving her time with her man and anyway, he stood her up twice. I tell her, good job! Forget him, he's too much older and self-absorbed anyway. And yet, she wants to text him back? Wtf?! I tell her to just ignore and she says she needs to tell him off. So, who's right here Aunts and Uncles?

A female reader, RennieGeek United States +, writes (28 September 2010):

She should ignore him, it's been too long. She apparently seems angry and hurt still by the situation, so I am wondering just how much she actually is enjoying her time with the 33 year old.

If you can't be calm after a year, then what is going on?
