writes:i have no idea what to say to my mother. i did exams for uni a few months ago and ended up with my second choice cause i didnt get great results. my mam wouldnt let me view or appeal any of them and so i took my second offer. now 2 months later. i am still living at home and have not found accommodation near college and have to commute for long hours every day. last week i found out that people who appealed their grades moved up and got there courses. i am really annoyed at my mother because all she does lately is hold me back. i am old enough to take care of myself so why is she acting like a bitch?

 Why are you letting her hold you back? You could have appealed them anyway. Why didn't you? It is easy to blame others, but really, if you wanted it bad enough you could have figured out a way to make it happen.
Use this as a lesson about life. If you want something, don't let anyone get in your way.
