I am a 28 year old. In the last few months my complexion has not been as it should be. I've always had oliy skin, and the odd spot here and there!! Recently my skin has got worse. I do wear a very light foundation on my face daily, I use oil free products. I always clean my face morning and night with gentle cleansers as have been told is not good to use harsh products on oily skin as produces more oil. Anyway just need some general advice and any suggestions of how I can improve my skin, it gets me down sometimes, I shouldn't be getting spots at my age!! I long for a clear and oil -free face, oh I also have been taking oil of evening primrose capsules for about 5 months now (for PMT) - would this make any difference??

Smiler agony auntHey sweetie

Well i agree with helpful girl, but i also have a few tips that may help you out ok if these don't work however you should go see your g.p maybe he can refer you to a specialist ok.... fisrtly i would remove all your make up and boil a kettle of water tip it into a bowl and lean over it, place a towel over your head the steam will soften your face and gently open up all your pours, do this every night for a week or so that should ease the oilyness, otherwise if this fails sweetie try putting nivea face cream on each night before you go to bed after you have removed all your make up obviously... lol this again should help stop the oilyness, try going natural without make up for a few days if you can this will also ease the problem a little, but a great tip i was told by my doc it to drink lots of water during the day as this not only detoxs your body and your kidneys it empties the toxins out of your skin its very good for you throughout you will go to the toilet for a wee alot more in the first week but after that it settles back down to normal,

I hope my advise helped you ut a little sweetie Good luck, if you ever need a friend to talk to or just some more advise don't hesitate to email me i'm always here for you ok... would like to hear from you again let me know how you get on ok..

You Take Care Sweetie X
