Maybe she just doesnt want the attention that comes with a new relationship, she wants you to herself before she tells everyone. I kept my relationship secret for aaages because he is my supervisor (reactions arent always good) and because it was soon after i had broken up with my ex and so didnt want to hurt him more. Just ask im sure she has her reasons.
