Why does my friend act like this?

Question - (29 June 2011) 4 Answers - (Newest, 30 June 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

There's this friend of mine that i really like,he's really confusing. He day he talks to me,the next day he ignores me.He texts me at midnight to wish me happy birthday, the next day not one "hello".

For example one day we were talking online. And he stops responding and goes offline...of course i got very upset seeing that.Right before i go to bed i see two texts from him saying sorry, that the internet connection is really bad.On another night same thing(should i say he used some hearts in his texts wishing me goodnight).

Also i see this pattern,he only replies to one text.If i ask him anything else it's silence.

I really don't know what to mae of this behaviour?

I don't think you are the only girl he is talking to. You may want more than he is willing to give at this time so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
