 I went though the same thing with my ex. When I went though it I was getting angry because I was insecure. I got really Jealous and even called her names that should never be said to someone you really love. But back to your problem, I think that he is feeling something he hasn't felt before. Or on the flip side....He could be like my cousin who plays with a girls heart. Meaning he will be nice and loving one minute and the next he can be the meanest to her. He did this to my Ex many a time. All I can say is make him put it to you point blank. Ask him "Do you love me Yes Or No?" and make him answer in a yes or no....I hope the best for you
