 One thing they are not doing is stepping outside of their own selfish head and looking ahead to what they will do with this person when they have led them out to the middle of nowhere and have no further use for them. They take these people for a ride that they might have taken a pass on if they were dealt with honestly. Its just that it was really really so oversold that only a fool couldn't see what a blast was in store for them if they came. And you kept selling it and selling it and no one noticed when the city lights were long gone and no street signs were to be seen just to shove them out of a the car. without even slowing down. There is no human need large enough to justify compromising your integrity and perpetrating this kind of deceit. I think if there were but one definite sign of being a sociopath this would be that sign

I'm glad this website allows you to see the poster's age. At your age and younger this happed a lot. I think part of it is you don't really know what love is eventhough at least one partner might think they do. Another is sometimes people think thats what you're supposed to say and don't really think about the meaning behind it. Love has a lot to do with compasion, empathy and sacrifice. Before the age of 21, i doubt many people have enough live experiance to adequatly have these emotions. I really really thought when I was 18 I was in love and again at 20. And for those relationships it was as close to love as you could have gotten at that age but at 26 you realize what you thought was happening and what you wanted to happen. And i'm sure when i'm 35 i'll wonder why i'm putting up with the BS i currently am now.
