A female reader, Basschick Australia +, writes (2 June 2012):

Basschick agony auntDreams are often our subconscious working overtime; things we think about during the way; worry about or fear. There's not much you can do to control what your brain does while you sleep but you can while you are awake. If you spend alot of time thinking about her it could be causing these dreams. Your best defense is positive thinking. If you focus on making your relationship fun and positive the dreams will sort of go away by themselves as your fears begin to diminish. It's natural to sort of worry that she might swope back in and woo him back into her arms but that is highly unlikely. The more you come to terms with the positive things your relationship has to offer both of you, the less you will dream about her. Good luck.
