reader, anonymous, writes (4 March 2007): Stick with your boyfriend and ignore his step-brother's feelings for you. If you did dump your boyfriend for his step-brother not only will you cause tension between you and your boyfriend (who will probably hate you for getting too close to his step-brother) you'll cause tension between your boyfriend and his step-brother (who he'll hate for nicking his girlfriend). Think about this situation the other way round. How would you feel if you had a step-sister (i don't know whether you do or not anyway) and she fancied your boyfriend and your boyfriend liked her back then your step-sister made him choose between you and her. How would you feel if he dumped you for her? You wouldn't like that would you? Tell his step-brother that you don't want a relationship with him and that you are staying with your boyfriend.
