Question - (6 May 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 6 May 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My bf and I have been dating for 1 year. Recently he has been acting like a jerk and the final straw was when he stayed out all night drinking with "friends". I broke it off with him and for 1 week we did not talk. He would call my other friends saying how much he missed me and that no one would be as great as me, blah blah blah. Then after a week of being apart we started talking again. He even slept over 2 nights but he said he wasnt sure if we should jump back into a relationship. So 3 weeks go by and I miss him so I have him over to talk. We decide we love each other still and want to get back together. Then he tells me he slept with another girl. But he cant remember when. And he swears he was safe but Im so hurt that he screwed some other girl so fast that I dont trust him now. I dont know what to do and need some advice. please.

to be honest...you technically weren't together at the time. That's the sort of thing you need to beware of when you say you're "on a break"...
